  • Our first session will be about 50-60 minutes and can be thought of as a “mental health checkup”. We’ll provide a non-judgmental space for you to share what brings you into therapy at this time and will get working on a plan to help you feel better. This is also a chance for you to get to know your therapist and determine if it’s the right fit! If so, future sessions will be between 45-50 minutes and individually tailored to your goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions but frequency may differ depending on your needs.

    *** Please note that coverage varies by plan and while we can provide an estimate of benefits, you are ultimately responsible for knowing the limits of your coverage and any financial responsibility not covered by insurance.

    *** We are also happy to provide documentation as needed for any out-of-network claims you wish to submit.

  • We kindly request that any cancellation or rescheduling request be made at least 24 hours before your appointment. When your appointment is scheduled, that time is committed to your care; without adequate notice of cancellation we are also not able to offer that time to other clients who may be waiting for an appointment. For no-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment time, a fee of $75 will be charged to your method of payment on file. This policy will be reviewed at intake.

  • Online therapy is done through a confidential HIPAA compliant video telehealth platform that you can access through a computer, tablet or mobile device. Research shows that therapy provided online can be just as effective as therapy in the office. It can also be super convenient for clients who may have difficulty traveling into the office because of work, childcare, distance, or physical limitations. We’ll discuss your needs and preferences and together make a decision on what the best treatment modality is for you!
